With a blank canvas in front of me I venture out to create what I see in my mind and to this point not one of my pieces has ever turned out the way I first saw it.  I paint with a lot of influence, whether it is a crush I have had, or a colorful building I once saw or even great song I have heard…there are many things that go through my head when I am painting and a lot of thoughts that get left behind on the canvas. 

Acrylic paint dominates my art but I have tried to branch out, on occasion, and use other materials, and substances.  Bright colors, layers and color schemes help me with the flow of all my pieces. 

The main reason for my art is to express my feelings without words or conversation.  I like to leave that part to those who view it.  Although my pieces are not the most complex at times…there is a lot of expression and thought within them.  My hope is that everyone that takes a look can get their own original feelings and meanings from what they see on the canvas."
